- Great to use as a flower hedge, wind shelter and bee pasture.
- 1.5 to 3 m high, more stout upright shrub or small tree
- Leaves dark green, autumn coloring striking yellow
- Flower white, end of April-beginning of May
- Fruits blue-black ripened in grapes, sweet-juicy in taste
